Factors To Consider When Choosing An Led Screen

1. Select the correct LED screen brightness

In order to optimize your viewers' visual experience, it is important to choose the right LED screen brightness. If the screen is too bright, it will cause discomfort to the viewer, while if the screen is too dark, it will hinder the visibility of the content. Here is a simple guide to choosing the right brightness for your LED screen.

Indoor:

500 to 1500 nits - the most common brightness of indoor monitors (TV screens, computer monitors, etc.)

1500 to 2500 nits - ideal for indoor displays in bright indoor environments or direct sunlight

Outdoor:

2500 to 5000 nits - ideal for outdoor displays to counteract daylight

5000+nites - ideal for outdoor displays to withstand direct sunlight

2. Transparency and pixel spacing

Transparent LED display has a variety of pixel spacing options, which will affect the transparency of LED display.

The higher the pixel spacing, the lower the pixel density, the more transparent the LED screen, and the lower the resolution.

3. Optimum viewing distance

The pixel spacing will affect the optimal viewing distance and the visual performance of the LED screen. In general, you can use the following formula to estimate the recommended pixel spacing for your project:

Pixel spacing (mm)/(0.3 to 0.8)=optimal viewing distance (mm)

4. Perspective and transparency

The transparency of your transparent LED screen will vary according to the viewing angle. The smoother your LED screen, the more transparent it will be when viewed from any angle.

5. Why does a higher resolution panel not mean a better LED screen?

Although resolution is important, higher resolution does not always mean better! Higher resolution means more LEDs; Therefore, transparent LED screens with higher resolution may be more expensive and require more maintenance.

When choosing a screen resolution, the deciding factor should not be getting the highest resolution, but actually how much resolution is enough to display your content. Consider the following when determining the resolution that best suits you. If your content is simple with simple abstract graphics, a lower resolution LED screen is sufficient. If your content contains details such as logos, text, and photos, a higher resolution is recommended. For business owners, careful consideration of LED pixel spacing density, transparency and resolution is the most cost-effective for your business needs.
